Default My somewhat feeble attempt to raise my W$WSF

Theres been a bunch of posts lately about W$WSF, after reading the well the other day I was inspired to just try spewing a lot for a few days and see if I could open up my game and start really crushing NL 200. After beating Nl100 solidly I've been pretty disappoint as I've only averaged 1.5PPTBB/100 at NL200 over 60k hands, so I figure its time to try something new. Like a fair number of you guys I normally have a W$WSF of 39-40.

I'm going to keep trying to maintain my new spewy style fo rat least 20k hands and then re-evaluate. Heres the stats after the 1st 1k. I kind spewed off a stack getting it in preflop with JJ vs QQ like a total donk, and I think the WTSD and W$atSD suggest maybe I was running a bit poorly. As you can see the W$WSF is up a substantial amount but the results are poor so far.

Any feedback/advice is appreciated I have no clue why my turn AF is so low. Maybe just small sample.

Don't do stupid [censored] just to make a stat look good.

It should be a natural thing.

Prob just variance.

Yeah thats the hard part though is I'm not used to really trying to take down a lot of small pots it just doesn't feel natural when i do try.

But I'm not sure making signifcant changes to your game ever will.

cbet more, double barrel more, but don't go to drastic measures like 3-bet shoving over someone that c/minr your cbet. Stuff like that. Like, your aggression is pretty low on turn and river so it looks like you just cbet and give up most times.

The only way to see what works is to try a bunch of stuff that might not. Don't be afraid to spew a little at first...

My W$WSF is about 38
My WTSD is about 20 (sometimes even dipping below 20%)
My W$ASD is about 52
My Winrate is about 8ptbb over 25K hands of 1-2.

Am I running hot.... Probably.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T DO STUPID S*(* TO MAKE YOUR STATS LOOK GOOD.

Can't really tell anything from this sample size. Fwiw, I think WWSF measures hand reading accuracy more than anything else, so trying to spew around to see if it goes up seems like a bad idea.

IMO you can't hand read effectively unless you are putting pressure on people. It's a fine line obviously, but there is no way to divine where the line is without crossing it at some point.

Your flop AF is insane.

My guess is you are way overplaying your moderate hands. It's OK to check-call (or just call in position) sometimes. It doesn't make you a fish.

You know, SOME percentage of a good player's W$WSF is because he gets hands like 2nd pair-middle-kicker to showdown without overplaying it and/or getting raised off of it.
