Although myke obviously clearly is in the wrong, I find it quite interesting that most of the very many posting in this thread aren't condemning g0lfa's actions, which are obviously far, far worse.

Although the motive for OP's post is to justify why he should welch on a $500 loan, and that makes OP a scumbag, I know that g0lfa called a big open-shove with 32o in a 109r because he wanted to go to sleep, on lil's money. I told a couple people about this at the time, trying to talk to lil (I don't know him), but gave up shortly. So I still don't think highly of golfa too, especially after OP's post.

I don't think highly of the g0lfa guy either...but the OP trying to get out of his loan because he legitimately lost a big hand to him and din't like the way he played it is completely idiotic.
This guy could be hacking accounts left and right and multi-accounting and colluding on Stars all day long, etc etc. The OP still very obviously owed the $500 to him. He was correct to finally pay him. He was incorrect to try to find a way out of it. And a big-time LOL at "I would expect a friend to pay me back the $2200" bit. WTF?!?! Moral of the story for the live-game: Don't play above your bankroll. IOW - Ansky is 100% correct.
