Do you really have no better read on villian? I think preflop and flop are fine. Most of the time I just check the flop, since I'm not worried about a free card. I check the turn pretty much 100% of the time, then I fold, call, or cr all in depending on who villain is. Against an unknown opponent in a slightly passive $400, fold.

I'm gonna cheat because I have stats on this player. He's pretty aggro preflop, with about 15% preflop raise over the 1100 hands I have on him. He's also somewhat of a call station and will call the flop with every conceivable flush.

Preflop is fine. Against this particular player I'd checkraise the flop quite a bit since he'll call with a ten-high flush, but betting out is good too. I doubt you're behind very often here. I'd bet about 1/2 to 2/3 pot on the turn. If he raises you can fold and you're still giving him incorrect odds to call with a set. AFAIK he will not jam the turn without the nut flush.

jeffman,

Either you're ahead, beat or he's drawing to a full. I would bet the flop as you did and then bet about 60% of the pot on the turn so as to lay him incorrect odds to fill without running him off, and so as to lose less if I got raised and folded to his presumed nut flush. Of course a read on whether he would raise you with a lesser flush then or that he would call the flop with the naked A just to put a move on the turn is necessary in order to make sure you don't fold a winner too often.

Also, you need to use a hand converter, rather than just removing your own sn while leaving those of others in.
