Its not just for playing hard its for laying down against the Phills while playing there asses off against the Mets. More then one player had said that they wanted to do their part to keep the Mets out of it and will do anything to do so.

Mets pitching disappeared. You score 6+ runs in so many games down the stretch and have the record they had is just putrid.

Maybe you could trade Mota to the Marlins and then drill him...

BTW the Nationals had to keep it close so they didn't look bad. But I'm mostly basing off of the players quotes that they wanted the phils to win it because everyone in the NL hates the Mets.

This must be a level, Willie would never allow this to happen, and the Marlins wouldn't be willing to give up a bucket of baseballs for Mota.

Yes Milledge was acting like a complete ass on Saturday. I actually think that a big reason that Reyes didn't do as well during the last part of the season was because of Milledge's additude rubbing off on Reyes. If Willie can't get his additude turned around then one of them has to go. Overall this team needs a leader.
