Default TP2K Pooosh NL $50 6m

Both villians are unknown and I've been at the table for less than an orbit.. Figure this play is pretty high variance but wtf. Do I have the best hand here enough to make this +EV?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $74.40
BB: $72.95
UTG: $49.05
MP: $48.95
CO: $47.00
Hero (BTN): $55.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.25, SB calls $2.00, BB calls $1.75, UTG calls $1.75

Flop: ($9) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 Players)
SB checks, BB bets $9.00, UTG calls $9.00, Hero raises all-in to $53.25

I am just trying to understand why you would want to push? What hands call that you beat?

Sick spot, but I think I wimp it up and fold. Full psb into 4(!) players with two-tone Ahigh flop out there.

As is, neutral EVwise I think. Which is why I toss it rather than flip for stacks with so little invested.

I agree.. my decision might change later on in the session, but first or second orbit, I'm going to lay this one down.

AJ: Unfortunatly both villians are complete unknowns though the table as a whole has juicy stats (68% to the flop/ $24 avg/pot)

mattnxtc: Ax/fd/pp who thinks I'm on a draw or bluff. I realize pushing puts me in a spot were I'm usually only getting called by a better hand, but with the size of the pot already, what are my options?

The interesting question here is does a set normally lead for exactly full pot? My thinking is that it doesn't. Usually a set would bet less than full pot here, and would often actually check. But then again if it's a loose table one of them may have 2 pair.

I know sometimes they will bet full pot with a set but I think that a very big percent of the time a set bets less than full pot (even if only a bit less).

no idea what BB has, but I think we see draws/ax enough for this to be fine

Ill first start by saying I didnt see the flat call of 9 by the utg. I need to think this out a bit more. As you said, if your called your behind a lot here.

Though really any raise commits you anyways.

Maybe you have to go with the loose table stats, as OP has no individual stats on these players.
