Re: 25NL TPTK unknown, river spot
Hero wishes he had a better read, decides what he's willing to pay to find out if he's beat and bets that amount, folding to a raise. At least get value from AQ, AJ. I'd unhappily fire out $7.

Re: 25NL TPTK unknown, river spot
I think betting 7$ then folding to a 6$ raise is absurd.

Re: 25NL TPTK unknown, river spot

I think betting 7$ then folding to a 6$ raise is absurd. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, good point, sort of ignored what he would have left. This hand should then serve as a prime example of how messing up the betting on prior streets can put you in a bind. You should really anticipate this situation on the flop, or the very least the turn and plan ahead for it. A pot bet on the flop and turn make the river play a trivial all-in. |

Re: 25NL TPTK unknown, river spot
bet more on turn? that way the AI on the river isn't an overbet

Re: 25NL TPTK unknown, river spot

Re: 25NL TPTK unknown, river spot
I agree to bet more on teh turn, hence you are AI on the fiver. As played. I say throw hin AI. Maybe he will fold a low flush occusionally when he is aheead of your range, and will stack off a lower ace

Re: 25NL TPTK unknown, river spot
I don't see an unknown of any sort folding a low flush here, but I still stick in a 3/4 PSB and hope to valuetown a lower ace. Definitely bet more on the turn, though.

Re: 25NL TPTK unknown, river spot
Am I nuts for thinking I can c/f this river as played since 56 also came in on the turn. If I check I don't see many worse hands trying to bluff and a worse ace would probably be happy to go to showdown.
