I think on FTP it depends on what limit you play as to whether the rake is 10% or 5%.

http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/rake.php is supposed to be the rake page but none of the dropdowns show any values for me.

[/ QUOTE ]

FT screws the most casual of players on rake.
I'm pointing this out for future consideration in those threads that come up debating the merits of different sites where people eventually say "if you are the casual player at micros and can get rakeback at full tilt you are better off there."

Completely untrue if you are really playing casually at nickel dime.

I'll still play some sngs at tilt, but I won't continue playing plo even though the plan was to move up in limits where the rake gets inline with stars. I don't play for a living so it doesn't hurt me cherry picking my play and this will be my small protest.
I play approx 1K hands per day 4-5 days per week and none of that will go to Full Tilt.
Well done Full Tilt.

Okay I choose Rock and use jedi mind tricks on any opponent.

Are there any Prima Network sites open to US Players that accept Epassporte? Ideally one that offers rakeback....

Hi, Si "King of the Zoo" Di! How's it hanging?

Many of the old Zooers are still on the site, but they have dispersed to other forums.

When someone like yourself drops by, some of them seem to have a sixth sense, and, hopefully, a few will say hello.

M.

Hey MH,

I am doing good thanks, I trust you and yours are too?

I popped by out of nostalgic boredom - it was most pleasant to locate a couple of archived links, kindly posted by yourself, that showed the evolution of the King of the Zoo tournament. I find it hard to believe how 'into' it I was back then. Alas, my interest dwindled, I hardly ever play poker these days. I guess I am just glad I can say I was there before everything went BOOM. If you know what I mean.

what is going to be this year's October blowup to the poker economy?

2006 was UIGEA
2005 was party cutting off the rakeback skins (empire, eurobet, multipoker, etc)

so, what is going to dramatically effect us this October?

[/ QUOTE ]

I bet I know
