router problem
I bought a Linksys 802.11g Wireless Router a few weeks ago, and it randomly stops broadcasting the internet. The internet and cable are both still functional, but the router just stops working. It's very annoying, and has cost me a few big pots. It normally starts to work again if I unplug it for 5 or 10 minuts (the normal 10 seconds reset doesn't do anything). Any advice? Thanks.

Re: router problem
It's worth logging into the router (192.168.1.1 on mine) and looking to see if the WAN connection is showing as disconnected when it happens (as it does occasionally on mine but not too often) which will also check the wireless connection to the router is OK.
When I had these symptoms my ISP was having problems. |
