The Foundation Room at top of Mandalay Bay or Voodoo Lounge at top of the Rio. Both are just insane.

Definately need reservations if they accept them. If not, lines will start forming for these 2 places approx 8 hours before unless you really know someone high up. This was from a few friends of mine that went to the FR last year (they knew someone) and the guys all said people were they about 3 or 4pm waiting. As for Voodoo, same thing.

9pm? 10pm? I don't remember now. I watched 'em from the steps of the Rio Convention Center during the WSOP last year. Up about 40 floors woulda been nicer.

Like last year I will be in town for the fireworks display. This year since MGM properties purchased the property I have an "in" for the Mandalay Bay observation area. No waiting in line this year!! WooHoo!!

What fireworks are you guys talking about? There is no huge fireworks on July 4th like the Strip has on New Year's Eve.

Show geared toward locals? In Chicago there are about 100 different shows on the 3rd or 4th.

Hit the top of the parking garage at Mirage, Harras, Bellagio or the "V". You will get a great show. No throng of jerks and easy exit when it is over.
