Ciaffone\'s new NLH book
Anyone hear any updates as to when this is going to be finished? It was supposed to be last month but it's not on Amazon yet.

Re: Ciaffone\'s new NLH book
As I recall, the book was 1/2 - 3/4 written, then Bob experienced a hard drive crash and lost everything. If you've ever written a book before (I have three un-published manuscripts at home) then you can imagine how heartbreaking this would be, and understand why it's taken him so long to start again.
Recently I went to Cardplayer.com and did an archive search for every NL hold'em cash game article Bob has published in the last 4 years. I cut-n-paste'ed them into a Word .doc and printed it out. If Bob ever does publish an NL hold'em cash game book, I'd wait in like for it like I did the Harry Pottter book (Bob is far and away my favorite poker author), but at this point I doubt any new book from Bob would be much different from what I already have. |

Yeah, Bob is a smart guy. However, sometimes the smartest people fail to take common sense precautions like MAKING BACKUPS!!!!! Unbelievable. I hope it publishes at some point. I trust he now has a backup copy. I'll check out those Card Player articles . . .
