stars 1/2nl, is this line okay vs. trey?
Does this belong in the Stars Regulars thread?
Villain is treys full, he pretty much epitimizes the winning, grinding nit at this level. I've got him at 11/6/2.3 over a sizeable sample. I also have him continuation betting upwards of 80% of the time, so I think he CB's AK a lot. I think with overs he will check the turn and bet the river if i check down. I believe that he checks down AK if I call and he misses. So my questions are for the regulars who have played with him: 1) Does he CB AK? 2) If yes, does he check down after the flop? 3) Does he play QQ+ as below? To everybody, if the answers to 1, 2, and 3 are all yes, do you like taking this line on occasion? Re: stars 1/2nl, is this line okay vs. trey?
Yea, I was thinking that especially given how trey probably perceives my play if I raise the flop then that 9 falls on the turn, he has to put me on boat/air/semibluff... If I raise the flop and he calls he probably intends to call me down (and win) unless the board gets scary enough (and the 9 isn't doing it).
