Default Summary of Tunica Weekly/Daily Tournaments

Going to Tunica this weekend Friday to Monday. Wondering if there is a site out there that has a summary of all of the weekly/daily tournaments with their buy-ins, etc similar to what AllVegasPoker has for Vegas. Looking mainly for multi-table tournaments with buy-ins of less than $150.

I had been checking out that link though I noticed everything in there is dated February 2004. Is that magazine/newsletter still printed? Can you pick up a recent copy at a casino in Tunica?

Any other recommendations for a more recent list of tournaments? The list on msgaming could still be accurate though, not sure.

Well, I've got a bunch of brochures and newsletters from the different rooms that I brought back, but they're all willy-nilly and honestly it will be a long time before I type them into the wiki if ever.

Anyone else with that info is invited to add it here:

I can tell you the Horseshoe schedule. Monday and Thursday at 7 and Friday at 4 is $65 buy-in with $40 re-buys and addons through the first 3 30 minute levels. Tuesday at 7 is a $130 freezout with a $25 bounty on everyones head. Saturday is $230 with $5000 chips to start, 30 minute levels, and 25-50 to start. Sunday is $130 with one optional $100 re-buy. $1500 chips to start and the re-buy is $3000. levels are 30 minutes.

I was there just a few weeks ago and played in the Sam's Town Saturday at noon $130 buy-in tourney with 47 players (and chopped 1,2 money.) They have a 6:00pm $60 tourney that regularly draws more than 100, often 150. starts with 20min blinds and a stack of 5,000? Not sure exactly, it looks scarey small, but it's enough to last a while if you need to. I think it's a good blind schedule though. I've cashed there twice with one all out win.

The Grand is supposed to have a 10:00 am $100 Saturday tourney but we were there the weekend after the big WSOP weekend and it was slow, so they did not have the tourney.

Chip,

No Wed tourney? MS Gaming Guide has a Wed 7 PM bounty tourney. Let me know, as we're arriving Wed, and we were gonna try and haul ass to get there in time for that tourney, heh.

Also re: MS Gaming Guide, type in msgaming.net, instead of www.msgaming.net, for some reason that brings up the current rather than March 04. I really freaked myself out when I thought the rooms had cancelled about 60% of their tourneys.

didn't know about the 2004 thing.
I always got to the current issue and they seem to be fairly decently updated.

Yes, you can also pick up a hard-copy of this little casino news-rag all over the place in Tunica.

msgaming.net worked and it doesn't have that annoying lightning bolt.

We might try the Sams Town tournament on Saturday night as that seems inexpensive. It's really for my brother as it's his first time play live and he really likes tournaments/no limit. I'm much more of a limit player.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm sorry I made a mistake. The bounty tourney is on Wednesday, not Tuesday. We have no tourney on Tuesday.
