Default There is fold equity at the NL 2 tables

I had been playing 36/18/7 when this hand happened. UTG had been raising almost every hand preflop.

SB ($1.94)
BB ($3.36)
UTG ($3.17)
Hero ($5)
Button ($5.09)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.02, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.1</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, SB calls $0.09, BB calls $0.08, UTG calls $0.08.

<font color="green"> raising due to the nature of table </font>

Flop: ($0.40) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $0.28</font>, SB calls $0.28, BB folds, UTG calls $0.28.

<font color="green"> get a OESFD so I get aggro with it
</font>
Turn: ($1.24) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $0.58</font>, Hero calls $0.58, SB folds.

<font color="green"> calling to hit or bluff river...
</font>

River: ($2.40) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">UTG bets $0.02</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.44</font>, UTG folds.

Final Pot: $2.86

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has 7s 9s (one pair, jacks).
Outcome: Hero wins $2.86. </font>

chat followed...
Villian: bets $0.02

Villian said, "omg"
Villian said, "this iste is a fipping joke"

I read somewhere on a post from fimbulwinter that at the NL 25 you should bluff river if you have been bluffing a draw that does not hit. This way you can fold out all nonpairs. I was quite shocked that it works this far down.

So that's the secret. Bet 1/6 the pot and they'll fold.

Only one of his fours play, but I think it's a good call if you'd bet 22 this way.
