Default Weekend Happy Thread 5: The Fish Fry

Well, it's Friday, time for another happy thread. The purpose of this thread is to brag on ourselves and post our big hands of the weekend, keeping us in good spirits to know that a big pot is just a few hands away.

As some have pointed out in the previous threads, the Happy Thread does have some educational value. It will usually show the benefits of playing big hands fast. Most of the hands are not worthy of strategy posts themselves, because the Hero knows he played the hand well, and doesn't need any assistance. But, what may be simple to one, may be profound to another. We all might see something within the hands posted to help our game. And so we have this thread.

(Aside: It is somewhat (nc/lc), but good for community IMO. With the noob noise talk we've been having, we have to make sure we don't go overboard on the other side of the spectrum. If SSNL goes 100% strategy, the community would suffer a bit. 98% strategy is cool)

Requirements for posting hands in this thread:

1. Hero believes he played the hand well.
2. Hero must win at least 80 bb's.
3. Post only converted hands and remember to post results.

4. It's also very nice of you if you can take the results out of white, so we don't have to highlight to see them.
5. If it's not obvious why you played the hand the way you did, give a quick reasoning.

So, if you play a hand that qualifies over the weekend, post it here and share the joy.

I'll get the ball rolling with a hand I played earlier today, where I was trying to induce raises because of reads.

Kerplunk,

Slowplaying AA like that against a re-raiser who has a smaller overpair is one of my favorite moves. Nice hand, sir!
