There is so much going on that you can't just pin it on him. Seemed pretty likely that the highlights and teleprompter weren't synced.

He wasn't fired, he left espn because Fox threw a boatload of money at him when they were first trying to establish FSN.

I have some stuff to do tonight, but luckily, it's a NE game so I'll be able to watch the entire meaningful portion.

Yeah would be really interesting to see the viewing figures for the first half and then the second half of NEs games. I'd be suprised if the second was 50% of the first.
