All of these things are true but they matter little.

It's blah. I've heard some of the arguments before. I guess the NFL could have "jumped the shark," but I highly doubt it.

In my enjoyment of the game itself. Everything else is more or less going meta.

Edit: The stuff about the game on the field starting to suck isn't true.

Does this mean that NASCAR is going to become the #1 spectator sport in the US? Cause if it does I'm defecting.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah I think they are basing this on the let down of the super bowl. A question I have is if the NFL really does crack down on the concussion issue, and injuries in general, could that effect the level of play on the field? I am envisioning more starters being sidelined and more backups playing.

1-They need to fix this problem, but why will it really hurt the league.
2-This happens to other people in other jobs. It's just part of the territory. Just like Boxers know the problems with the sport, this is one of the problems with football. There are risks in every sport and every job.
3-Nobody said everyone had to be an honest Joe in football. They need to cut these arrests down but I don't think it'll slow down the league.
4-Steroids, sports, woop de doo. Steroids isn't going to kill sports. Honestly I don't care anymore. Wow athletes are using drugs to perform better.
5-Overexposure-You don't have to watch. Some of the games are going to suck every week.
6-Too big of expectations-For every SB pitting Manning vs the Bears, there is Manning-Brady which was great. You can't have great games every week especially when the NFC is weak.
