Unconfirmed rumor regarding Chexx Inc

I was using the google to try and figure out why my friend's local bank wouldn't let him deposit his check from stars.

Anyways I cam across this from gambling911's forums. The dude only has two posts. Can anyone confirm?

Confirmed this rumor. Chexx Inc is pulling out Feb 2. Anything done before that should be fine.

What exactly is Chexx inc? How much (as a %) of check clearing do they do?

What does this mean? Does this means that checks after 2/2 will no longer be an option at all? Or that you can still cash checks at some banks, but not others?

Did we all just move our money off neteller to pokerstars only to have it now be stuck on pokerstars with no way to get it out?

So if I already have a Chexx Inc check, should I (a) pay a fee to cash it at a check cashing place instead of (b) depositing at my bank where there will be a hold on the check for 2 weeks?
