Default AKo...facing all-in

No real stats on villains as only have him over 12 hands.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($11.25)
CO ($7.50)
Hero ($13.84)
SB ($2.30)
BB ($2.98)
UTG ($5.70)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.06</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $2.3</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero?

Not much in the pot to justify calling here...this is an am I ahead or am I behind situation. But he is short-stacked so therefore how much merit can I give for myself having the best hand here? Is this situation read dependent...is this generally a call?

Call, you only need 48.5% equity and against a shortstack you easily have that. Remember: shortstacks are retarded.

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 50.271% 45.48% 04.79% 981262908 103340190.00 { AKo }
Hand 1: 49.729% 44.94% 04.79% 969559752 103340190.00 { 22+, AJs+, AJo+ }

(I've seen shoves with much worse than this range at all uNL levels)

He's not a shortstack (SB is 115 BB deep), but at these levels it's probably worth a (high-variance) call.

Thanks for the stats. Although I don't quite understand them.

You guys really think that villain's shoving with AQ or worse enough to make this profitable? Obviously against any pp this is -EV, so I'm wondering why people are saying easy call. I'd say this is an easy fold.

Villains range is much wider than PPs here, and we only need 48% equity.
