Default I folded top pair

Still reflecting on my 15/30 game...

I have T2o in the BB, there are two limpers, and SB comes along. The flop is T74 or some other relatively disjointed T-high flop. SB checks and I bet. The first limper raises and drives out the other two guys, and I call. I check-fold the turn when it is neither a T nor a 2.

Standard?

Aaron, if you are calling this flop, nothing changed on the turn. Sure you are not being nittish b/c of your downswing? You have TP in a HU pot.

I played a very similar hand while I was @ the Crown a few weekends ago. I had K2 in BB on a K hi flop with 2 hearts no straight draws. Got raised on flop & c/f turn when it showed a 3rd heart. I was happy the way i played it.

(tho with the flush draw my eg is an eaiser fold I admit)

This was super early... maybe even my first hand. I just remember having a "crap, I have no clue what his range is" moment when he raised.

That's part of why I posted it. It seems like a bet-fold might be in order, but part of me wanted to go ahead and peel one off to see what the turn would be and how he would respond to it.

I think given you just sat down it is probably good for your image that you don't b/f the first flop you see. Peel one and then c/f is fine.
