Default Raising Duck in hijack with a lowstack

This was a risky raise I made with the high blinds in relation to my small stack. Most of these guys are calling stations and I'm suprised I got away with this. What would your play have been?

Default Re: Raising Duck in hijack with a lowstack

That's a sick spot. You have a stack where I would hate to openshove but might do it anyway because I'll puke on every flop and want to take the pot right here. Sometimes I'll even fold this ... I would be much more comfortable shoving Ax or a SC for a resteal in the blinds.
This hand depends a lot on the table dynamics and if I feel like gambling.

Given your reads that those guys are calling stations, a 3x raise here is bad. Either shove it in if you feel like gambling against AJ or fold. But you don't want to raise and play a multiway pot where everyone has overcards and suited connectors.
