I wish I knew.

I would reflexively bet, and plan to 3-bet. If anyone comes along, I am probably in deep trouble, and would check fold the turn.

Checking does risk the hand checking thru, and I suspect that would benefit our opponents more than us.

But really, I am clueless in this type of situation, and act more becuase it 'seems' like what I 'should' do.

you cant be serious.

OP unless you have a rockish image and think that everyone's gonna put you on QQ-AA with a bet, then check.

this means that you should prob check.

Are the bolded parts meant to go together? That is, if someone is on a flush draw, then checking is the better play?

Its not what i have in mind
I mean its high chance that someone has FD and u dont take this pot right now.

If someone is at FD u have to bet to dont give free card but u also dont wanna be raise by this villian cus u dont know where u are (he can think u have only OC and raise at this flop) U wanna pay 1sb to see turn but dont wanna pay 2sb.
