I think you need to call that guy's shove on the flop unless you have a read that he like never bluffs, because from a normal opponent that could be anything. I probably would have just shoved the flop to begin with, that's not a bad flop really.

edit: pot size on the flop is way wrong on the one that just got converted...should be t4025.

I don't think folding is that bad ... people like to call PFR with a Jx hand so much that a J on the flop hits at least one villain almost always. It kind of sucks because the pot is pretty big.

That being said a call can certainly be +EV here as villain is doing this with a wide range of hands (FD, medium PP,..) and we are getting over 2:1 on the call. Calling 1/4 of his stack PF, villain shoves / calls a shove on almost every flop. This is were a read would be nice...

call &gt; fold &gt; shove

btw: use a HH converter next time
