good for him. he's probably one of the most dedicated to studying/improving and deserves the success he has had. he's got the money, so he should live his life. all the best, bryce.

GL Bryce, though I call BS. Just become half as expert at 6-max PLO as you are at HU LHE and double your BR in 2 years.

yeah I might quit too if I were him. 3 million can go a very long ways if you live in a place where the cost of living isn't too high and you invest well.

If he's that good, he should stay in it - sure, take a break, but if he enjoys poker and has money to support himself, how many people would do anything for that kind of life? And he can coach. Fly all over the world coaching rich people. Much of making a living as a "legit" adult is equally unfulfilling and even embarrassing. Nothing wrong at all with playing poker for a living (if you can do that successfully). To put it in perspective, there are plenty of rich people who got that way in ways that they'd rather you didn't know about. Bryce, on the other hand, can be proud of his skill, and boast about it - it's really quite interesting.
