this is so [censored] stupid... if he peaked at over 25k, he won the bet - i seriously don't see how anyone could argue with that.

[/ QUOTE ]

You're right, and I agree with you - but Sharkscope's figure of over 25k included money that was in play at the moment the graph shows it over 25k.

Each tourney is entered into the graph only at the point of completion.

At no point did SpaceGravy actually ever have 25k profit in his Stars account (since when Sharkscope shows him at over 25k, he had something in the order of 15 * $60 = $900 in play)

[/ QUOTE ]

since spacegravy was running his tables continuous, i assume, and sharkscope imports 1 at a time, i assume, then at one point he did achieve it +$25k at one point, including his stars account. this isn't politics.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, the buyins are paid at the beginning of the session but stats only get counted when the sng ends, if I fire up 20 60s with case money and magically win the first one while the other 19 are still going sscope would have me showing 187.50 profit, but my account still has only 247.50 in it and I can still be down 1750 if I bomb all the others.

Well done space, truly amazing, I'd only encourage you to finish up 25k plus so there isn't any debate over such an incredible accomplishment.

Prediction: this will cause a tilt induced nosedive to 18k.

I agree with kleath. WHat if gravy had joined 10,000 SnGs all at once and at one point his mountain peak was over 25K but at the end it dipped below. He could say, "I made 25K look at the graph at 5,000 games" even though the end graph dips below.

It really doesn't matter what anyone thinks. If spacegravy et al stipulated that if at any point he hits $25k he has won the bet, than that is the case. If this wasn't stipulated, I'd think gross profit for the month would be the standard.

I dont think the language was really clear

On a side note it kinda sucks to be called an idiot by someone who barely functions well enough to use a computer, an item which he bases his livelyhood on.

I feel like this is a BBV-type "but how much did you lose lol" level. By multiple people.

I pretty clearly recall SG stating what he is saying now multiple times before and definitley during the very beginning of the bet. I'm not really sure who if any of the complainers are actually in the bet, but if you are it's pretty low to bring this up when you have a great chance of losing than in the beginning when the outcome was unclear.

BTW well done SG, sick accomplishment.

rofl at it being low, is this the twilight zone? Did all semblance of rational thought leave the second gravy started the bet?
