I just deposited a measly $50 on oddsmaker.com from the link on 2+2 and ...

I can't imagine 2p2 would knowingly let any associate of Futurebet put a link on this site. Where is said link?

This is what sportsbookreview has to say

oddsmaker (SBR rating D-) slow-paying clients including its non-US players. The sportsbook has been relisted in the SBR rating guide as a member of the Futurebet Group of sportsbooks and should be avoided. oddsmaker is now relying on Futurebet's cashier and PlayerSupport services as well as its software. The group's payout complaints are on the rise as they are each year before the start of the betting season.

Well I take it either no one here has used oddsmaker or you all are being cynical bastards as usual... and i'm guessing its the latter.

It appears oddsmaker is no longer associated with future bet. Is there any way you can tell a site is using future bet via its website? I cant find any information myself..

Here are most of the FB sites:

Just a couple of weeks ago I ran a whois and they shared the IP with most of the other FBs. They also used the same "Player Support" that all FBs use. Maybe they moved in the last week? Obviously SBR thinks they are FB too. Email them or maybe Sports911 and see what the deal is.

I brought this up earlier in the sports betting forum.
Here is the thread

There is a response from Mat and Oddmaker and some shilling from TheShrink, but the flyers oddmaker mails out include the Shrinks endorsement with photo as a separate insertion into the mailer. I'm sure he is paid well for it.

I've never been a troublemaker at all at this forum. I've just been a regular in the 2+2 sports betting for a while and was really disappointed to see those banners. In the sports betting industry people are more fearful of getting stiffed by books and rightly so, I think a lot of poker players will end up at that forum and see the oddsmaker banner as an edorsement by 2+2 for that company and trust it more - Its really to bad because it will likely end in just millions of dollars more being added to future bets pocket.

I feel bad for that guy who won the $100K jackpot on BetUSA and now is left dealing with futurebet support who has been giving him the run around forever and are not likely going to pay him

all FB related sites use the same live chat "Players Support" as it was originally called on all their skins(when they were still with ongame)

the support is useless and will lie to you if it is in the best interest of FB. they have said they are a seperate(outsourced) service in the past, but it has always been clearly run by FB.

I have friends who are owed 30k+ from FB sites, from back on Ongame. Ive done a lot of searching around the net for info on them in the past, and found some really interesting things(regarding how FB has screwed site owners).

some of the DGN network sites have broken away(or are in the process of) their ties with FB, the whole network is really shaky right now. this is obviously a result of FB players dumping to the few non FB sites that were on the network with them, hence now they do not share the same tables anymore.

any site that associates itself with FB in any way, deserves anything they get as a result IMO. lot of site owners(FB sells licences to individual sites on their network) knew FB was shady, but wanted to make an easy buck so signed up with them last year. now a lot of those owners have been screwed by FB for a LOT of money.
