Default How profitable should be a 2/5 live game?

Hi guys

I am mostly a player of cash games (2/5) and I usually keep track of my financial poker loses / winnings.

I was wondering if any of you have an estimate of what would represent a decent and reasonable "averge hourly wage" for these games. So far, I have been playing around 20 hours a month and making around $ 20 bucks per hour.

Thanks!

Depends on stacks. But say $500-1500 stacks I would say at least 15ptbb/100

300 max buy in can be a problem. 20 an hour is pretty light.

It really depends on the games. I've played semi regularly in a variety of 2/5 games. I've played in some 2/5 200max games that get deep fast and seem like absolute goldmines compared to a 2/5 300 or 500max game in another part of the country. It really depends.

I'd expect it can range from 20-50/hr, depending on the quality of games. I think thats a range of 8-20 ptBB/100.

I regular 2/5 live games roughly 25-35 hours weekly. I think the above metioned 15ptbb/100 is a very attainable goal. (at 35 hands/hour = roughly $50-55/ hour) I would probably stretch that to even 20ptbb/100

I find the key to winning at these stakes is primaraly adjusting to the tables. I often find myself surrounded by absolute abc nits, and other times the games are so juicy it's pointless even c-betting any flop.

Really, 35/hr? I don't think I've ever played in a live game that averaged even 30 hands an hour, let alone 35.
