Muck trip report

Apparently the Seattle region has been destroyed by some kind of once a century storm. That and no power at my folks house are a sign that the trip to the Muck isn't going to happen this month. Hopefully in January. Meanwhile, enjoy this picture:

Not going to be there around Christmas? I was hoping for another session with Sarsen, Iggy, and Bernie, and maybe more, depending on who's around.

Sorry, I don't take pictures of people. They talk too much. No trip till after the holidays, my sister works for an airline and I fly standby for free so closer to Christmas won't work.

Destroyed, no. Inconvenienced dreadfully, perhaps. And the lion's share of that inconvenience was restricted to the Eastside (where they really have no business using "Seattle" in any description of their Orange-County-Without-The-Fun-Stuff surroundings).

New Orleans, now THAT was destroyed.

I"m outta town as of the 26th until basically after new years.

Place was packed tonight with everyone just wanting to go somewhere with electricity. Side games for the freeroll qualifying tourneys have been great all week.

I talked to my sister around 10 last night and they had got power back across the street sometime after 9. Probably could have made it out there but getting back Sunday would have been a pita if flight delays were still rippling.
