Default NL200 Cash - AK in reraised pot

It's early in the session, but villain has been playing pretty weak/tightish and I've won a bunch of small pots in a row. He has tended to fold when he doesn't have a decent hand and has yet to float me as far as I know.

So am I betting here? If I do bet, I feel like I am committing my stack against a guy I think I can grind down without much risk. And yet my hand is pretty strong so getting it in here isn't terrible... thoughts?

check. He's not calling with worse hands here and the ace presents an excellent opportunity for villain to bluff.

Agreed, if you thought villain was capable of floating then value betting becomes a very attractive option.

If we think villain is capable of floating wouldn't c/c or crai be a better option than vbetting?

Check for sure. I think a decent line is check/call then donkbet most rivers. But check/raise and lead seems like a solid play as well, even better perhaps because if he raises the river then we can get away from it easier, it would show extreme strength and difficult to put him on worse than a queen.

I like your idea, but any c/r we make on the turn is a crai given stack sizes - we're only 100bb deep.

Check the turn and call any reasonable size bet.
