Re: Overpair vs villains linechecks
QQ hand: id play the same vs a lagtard like that.
JJ hand: to me this line seems like a set. AA hand: this guy isnt going to be raising your c-bet with anything less than two pair here. |

Re: Overpair vs villains linechecks
1st hand i check the turn and V-bet the river if checked to again.
Second hand, push flop. Third hand, we're probably beat here. Best case scenario is somebody limped with TT, but that would be pretty rare. Best logical scenario is flush draw, so we're barely ahead here. But i can't fold AA to that board so i can't blame you. |

Re: Overpair vs villains linechecks
1 flop is good, turn; ton of draws got there, I prefer a check.
2 I don't know. This is like the standard line with a set. Against a solid reg I expect a bet-3bet line with a good draw. 3 I don't like. As played I give up after the raise. If you raise to $18 preflop, then this would be more standard. |

Re: Overpair vs villains linechecks
1- Flop is good- but i'd rather check the turn. and i may call because he's so aggro. but at that point....you're only getting 2:1 or so.
2- He's not folding to your turn reraise....ever. You're basically getting all of your chips in for him. Is he the type of player to bet his draws? 3- looks like same hand as hand 2. These are tough spots...at least I know I'm not the only one getting stacked by sets against my over pair. |

Re: Overpair vs villains linechecks
1 - fine given read
2 - he has a set like always 3 - fold. You are usually crushed and flipping the other times. I'd expect you to be flipping only like 25% of the time though. |
