Party 100nl has convinced me that there's really no need for heaven.

It was pretty much the flow of the game. I felt it was right, and it was.

EDIT: Also, villain is 2+2

Natural evolution of games. Go back a few years and 3betting PF was a radical new concept it seems. People need to adapt. I 4b a lot more now and plenty of regs do not know how to combat it, time to spend a bit more time with Stove.

I played on a Saturday afternoon (UK time) yesterday and was amazed how many idiots there were calling three streets with mid pair, pot sized bets with FD. Was like 3 years ago, I really need to start playing weekends more.

KQo is just about the worst hand you could possibly call an all-in with. You needed about 38.5% equity here so his range needs to be ridiculously wide and probably wider than you realise (ppl often think they can start calling with any two once the odds start approaching 2-1 or 33% equity required, which isn't true). Assuming he doesn't 5bet shove Khigh and shoves any ace and (the latter is pretty generous to you) you barely have a correct call.

KQo 38.702%
77+,A2s+,A2o+ 61.298%

Subtract the smaller pairs (reasonable to assume he'd set-mine 77 for example) and the weak offsuit aces (A7o or less) and add say KQs and KJs you get:

KQo 37.484%
88+,A2s+,KJs+,A8o+ 62.516%

Which makes the call incorrect. To conclude, I'd say avoid getting into 5bet wars like this with KQo

PS The point of that post was to show that I don't think it was the correct call just because he tabled A9o.

I had AA earlier and shoved over a 4bet who folded.

I hate min raises, I never do them. But if you held a hand where you were 4betting pretty light, and villain min raised you from 66->100ish, whats your plan? Since most small stakers are terrible at adapting despite knowing fancy moves, I was tempted...
