So what was the deal with the call?

He can get up from his stance to shift, as that happens all the time obviously. Did the ref just think he jerked too quickly to make it look like it was live? Did Manning say hut right as it happened, making it illegal?

I could see that being a rule as it would be very hard for a defense to judge the snap count if the QB calls it out right before a guy gets up from his stance.
