Default Help me with Excel!

I have an excel spreadsheat with data from last 4 years of daily poker results.

It goes by this:
Weekday / Date / Hours Played / Win-Loss

MON
TUE
WED
THU
FRI
SAT
SUN

What I want to do is: get all the Mondays, all fridays, etc. and make an average of my winrate/ hoursplayed/ etc.

I could click one-by-one but that would take hours. I dont know how to get 1 data, skip 5 rows, get another data, skip 5 rows, etc.

Please help!!!!

The function you want is 'sumif()'. It will let you sum items in one column if criteria in another column (same row) is met.

from the menu select Data - Filter - Auto Filter

if it recognizes your header row, you should have a dropdown for each column and be able to select "Monday" and view only Monday's results - etc.

from the menu select Data-Filter-Auto Filter

this should give you dropdowns for each column and allow you to view only the day of the week you select

Lots of ways to lick this one.

Pivot table, sumif, or if.

PM me if this is still an issue.
