won the "official" norwegian Q3 championship in 2004 (nikla didn't attend tho, he would have destroyed me) and maybe the best Q4 player in norway last year.

fourth and fifth in my age groups in chess in norway two years in a row.

i even suck at being a nerd :/ meh

- Programmed a 2000-line ping-pong game in BASIC that probably could have been done with 20 lines in a proper language.

- Made a comprehensive batch-menu for DOS 3-5.x systems that made some good money for an 11-year old kid.

- Got more "posts" on Usenet than in online forums.

- Played all Sierra/Lucasart adventure games.

- Actually like math.

- Once wrote a 100-page plus essay in school when the requirement was 3-5 pages.

Can't compete with a lot of previous posts but I'm still #1 ranked M:TG player in my state (havent played for a year) and I topped the state in an English comprehension test when I was 11! :P

In some bizarro universe I got voted Phi Kappa Phi junior scholar of the year (lol, wasn't even a member and pretty sure I showed up to the ceremony stoned).

Years back pre-itunes I didn't leave the house for several days while I hacked together a linux app for playing mp3s through the main home stereo from any computer using a web interface. Kinda cool sitting out on the porch changing the volume of your stereo inside and stuff with a PDA.

I like home automation stuff and use one remote for everything including lights.

I used to use a Tivo + night camera to monitor a backyard pond. It was fun watching all the neighborhood animals come drink from the waterfall and try to catch fish the next day.
