Default Old Hand vs TheBeat\'s UTG Limp

This is from a 109 about a year ago. I posted the hand at the time, but did a [censored] job of it and found that this is actually pretty interesting.

What's your line here on the flop and plan for later streets?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (9 handed) converter

UTG (t1505)
UTG+1 (t3565)
MP1 (t2705)
MP2 (t1360)
MP3 (t1260)
CO (t2405)
Button (t2555)
SB (t1330)
Hero (t1670)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls t50, 7 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (t125) K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets t200, Hero ???

Also, I went ahead and showed that I checked first to act, but would leading be better?

honestly, I might fold to that bet. If I don't, I'm calling and folding to any more turn/river action. thebeat is pretty weak tight.

I check the flop. I am not too crazy about leading, because there is no play the villain will make in reaction to my bet, that I will like.

Yeah.. I think I just fold.

I've never played with the beat, but if he's good, he's not often overbetting the pot without TPNK beat.

The Beat is a very aggressive player that will take a shot with any two on a checked flop. He's also got somewhat loose starting requirements because he is a good postflop player. I lead out, but I check call that action, and lead 400 on any non-broadway turn. IF the turn is an Ace, J or T, I check/fold.

I don't think calling TheBeat weak/tight or very aggressive is correct. He's kinda both.

The thing is, that when a good player overbets the pot, it's very significant. You can't do that very frequently with bad hands without making a really exploitable and blatant mistake.

I didn't call him weak/tight. I just said he takes a lot of flops. There's a big difference.

I had a hand very similar to this one with the Beat earlier this year mid-tournament where I check called him the whole way with top pair and he was bluffing an inside draw the entire way.

Funki called him w/t.

And I guess since this thread is going nowhere I'll give the result since it's suddenly more interesting with your post best.

I c/c'ed this flop, then led the J turn.

He showed AT for flopped gutshot. Tell?
