Hi all,

Thank you for responses thus far. I've told aejones that I thought this was reckless spew too, but please answer the following questions for him:

a.) How can Xorbie differentiate between 55 and JJ here?

b.) How can aejones possibly be bluffing?

c.) What is the capital of Gibraltar?

Cheers,
FS

a) i don't see how that's relevant, i don't think he ever shows up with a hand that falls between those two.

b) see op

c) i don't know

a. Why would JJ push here? It is very possible xorbie has a queen in his hand here, or something even stronger. Would your pal AE really push JJ here? Hoping he holds exactly 99/TT is pretty damn thin.

55 = J7o here.

b. Why is water wet?

c. Gibraltar.

Hi J,

How in the world can xorbie check this river with JJ-99 (a large portion of his range). Do you not see how awful that would be? FWIW, aejones gives xorbie more credit than that in this spot, he knows he'd likely try to get value out of someone like jones who had his fold button revoked for lack of use recently.

Cheers,
FS

looooooooooool

either your 7's are good or he's not folding, anything in between is tenuous and a dumb excuse for a blatant spew

then why would xorbie be checking jj-99 on the turn if jones has been playing like a station?

Hi Grolsch,

Clearly, jones would bet tons of floats, and this flop is dry and looks strong for floating. Because of that, xorbie probably expects jones to bet the turn a lot with air, which is free money if he's got TT or 99.

Cheers,
FS
