Default Just moved to LA, Best Casinos?

Well I just moved to LA not too long ago and I want to play some small stakes NL. Probably 1-2 or 2-5. What Casinos have the best rake, games, rooms? Are any low stakes even beatable? Every casino Ive been to, the rakes been ridiculous.

no expierence, but out towards palm springs, cabazon exactly, Morongo is a fish pool. tons of rich tourist. its more a less a vacation spot for old people, golfers, and those who got the ghey.

Stick the clubs in LA if they are close. You can easily come up cash in the 200NL no prob and not have to worry about rake.

[/ QUOTE ] Ive played at The Morongo, I didnt like it cause the 1-3 NL game is $100 max buy in which isnt very fun. It was a fish pool though, unfortunately I got coolered but definitely easy games.

200NL at Hollywood Park is super-soft, expect some suck outs from the bad play, but it is a very profitable game.

200Nl at Commerce varies, sometimes soft, sometimes very tough. Really hit or miss.

200 NL at the Bike same as Commerce.

IMO

If you dont like the structure at Morongo, you will hate the structure in LA.

Bike,Commerce, HP 100NL 2/3 blinds. 200NL 3/5 blinds
Hustler 50-100NL 1/2 blinds, 100-300NL 2/5 blinds
HG 20nL 1/1, 40NL 1/2, 100 NL ???, 200NL ???

Good luck

I have found that the Indian casinos tend to have a bunch of nitty rules like requiring all in players to table their hands - in a cash game, and they do everything possible to try and void a BBJ. If you even turn your cards up after everyone is all in you will disqualify a BBJ. Now, I honestly haven't seen this happen. I was told this by dealers at 3 different rooms.

IMO, the only reason to go to an Indian room unless you live nearby is if you want to play blackjack or slots.

For 1/2 - 3/5 try The Bike, Commerce, or HP.

I played the 3/5 NL at Morongo about a year ago and will say that it was the JUCIEST game I've ever played in. Ever.

Almost worth the drive.
