I for one am glad to see this happen. After all, Shannon has denied entry to thousands of willing men. It's poetic justice that one man is finally turning the tables on her

in vegas my id is in my pocket at all times, you need to show it to register for any tournament. or any kind of food comp for the players card or gift. at least once or twice a day sombodys gotta check an id. now if she forgot it and left it at room or something fine, but i cant see too many people without id in thier possesion when playing poker or gambling.

Who doesn't walk around with a wallet/purse with ID in it? Sounds like the standard US celebrity thinking the "DON'T YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" line is going to get them whatever they want.

Not online that I can see, but from this morning's Herald-Sun:

Shannon bounced
WE'VE all been knocked back by bouncers, but US actor Shannon Elizabeth didn't expect to be refused entry at Crown, where she is competing in the Victorian Poker Championships.

But witnesses told Confidential that security did indeed knopck her back from entering the gaming areas on Wednesday night, because she didn't have any ID.

A 33-year-old being asked for ID could be seen as very flattering, but not when you have a profile like hers and have a poker tournament to win.

Hahahahahaha. Boy, I would've liked to see the "Don't you know who I am!" stink I bet she kicked up. If only Terrence Chan had been there to tell her she's just Shannon Elizabeth, not Queen Elizabeth

I hate Crown Casino with a passion. No one in there as any idea whats going on. Worst dealers in the world, but its the only legal place in Melbourne to play live poker for money.

I could go on and on about horrible things that have happened in the Crown poker room, but I'm going to save myself some stress. I hate that place.

I don't mean to be a nit, but after investigating this issue extensively two years ago, I came to the fairly firm conclusion that you can play poker for money just about anywhere as long as the house doesn't take a rake.

(obviously, this is not legal advice, etc.)

Phil Ivey was asked for ID in January, despite standing beside a giant five metre poster with his face on it.

On Day 1C (i think) of the WSOP ME I happened to be walking in to the convention center (from the back parking lot) when I saw Shannon Elizabeth coming from valet. I slowed down so I could catch a glimpse of her 'assets' and followed her up the stairs and into the main hallway.

As you guys know the hallway was blocked off, forcing players and spectators to go through the lifestyle show. She tried to get through the blockade and was denied from the security guard. She did not argue more than 2-3 seconds, and as she was walking away, she said under her breath, this is so stupid.

That's it.
