Interesting rumors on Mich-Illinois...hearing that Hart is out, and Juice is out, and Benn is "hurt". Also, the game is reportedly being taken off the books in Vegas. FWIW.

This would have been total disaster 2 weeks ago, but Brown looked pretty good (albeit against Purdue) last week.

I still think it comes down to the Michigan D. Will our coordinators come up with a game plan that stops the run/pass option? We haven't in 5 years, why expect us to now?

Well given their pass D, we should probably come out throwing anyway. My concern re: Hart is that he's very good in pass protection, whereas many of our backs (we have almost no one left) have no clue what to do. That coupled with Henne's pocket presence is good for at least 1 lost fumble and a couple sacks. That and I'm worried about stopping their running game.

Great start for the defense, and Brown makes the catch, nice rebound after that muff.

1. You are assuming DeBord is willing to throw alot based upon film study. History demonstrates that this is not the case...I expect them to run the same amount they always do because "that's michigan football."

2. Great point re: pass protection. Nobody other than Hart has a [censored] clue, and Henne makes major mistakes when blitzes aren't picked up.

Not to hijack, but watching Sam McGuffie on ESPN2 (who if you don't have the sound on you might not know is going to Michigan, since they say it everytime he carries the ball), not very impressed. His team kind of can't block and his QB can't really throw, but meh, somewhat underwhelmed.

I never got the McGuffie hype. Isn't he a random 4 star recruit? The youtube tape is good, but I don't understand why people are going nuts over this guy.

But he jumped over a guy! Like all the way over!! Such a thing has never happened in the history of foot ball.

Also, he's white.
