Default Full Tilt Sends me to Monte Carlo with nothing...

Thought I would share my satellite experience with Full Tilt poker with you all.

I qualified for Monte Carlo through Full Tilt a couple of weeks ago. It was a 16k package. I got my 3k spending cash as promised and quickly booked my flights. Four or five days ago I realised that I had booked my flights to arrive a little to late for me to be able to comfortably play on day 1a. Because of this, I sent Full Tilt an e-mail and to let them know to register me for day 1b so that there wouldn't be a problem. Here is what happened....

Hello Mario,

We have credited your account in the amount of $13,000 and the funds are
available at this time. You can use these funds to buy directly into the
Monaco event on the day of your choice.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Regards,

Steve
Team Full Tilt

Wow. Thanks full tilt. Thanks for [censored] me right in the ass. With taxes due in 2 weeks for US citizens, and $70k of my money locked up in neteller, and since it takes about a week to just get a check, I really appreciate your help in this matter to help me get bought in to this tournament. How can you expect me to just float $13k internationally and exchange it to euros 24 hours before I'm supposed to leave when I was never instructed to do beforehand.

[censored] you FT. I sent the next two e-mails yesterday and got NO response.

----

Steve and Events Team,

Thanks for your help with this matter but I feel like it is not being
handled properly. I hardly have the funds in my bank account and it
is going to be a big hassle to bring that much cash over and I wasn't
planning on it. I've satellited for events before, can one of your
people buy-in for me? I was under the assumption that this is how
things were going to be handled. If you need to reach me on my cell
phone the number is 682 xxx.

----

JDM (Pro / Events Liason):

I was given your e-mail address through a friend of a friend on MSN
who works for Full Tilt Poker. (MSN: xxxxx). Here is my problem as described to Full Tilt Support
and Event Support in e-mail.

----

Finally, one person was helpful. The person who I talked to on MSN wanted to help me out but he couldn't, but tried to direct me in the right direction. Thank you for helping me. But everyone else [censored] up. Been to 4 EPT events and 2 WPT events this season and most of them on qualifiers and I've never been this [censored] by a poker site. PokerRoom / Stars / even UB all got in contact with me before hand and had everything taken care of for me.

Yes I still am. I need Full Tilt and Full Tilt needs people like me. But if they piss me off I'm gonna let people know. Wish there was a better way to fix things.

I think you are missing the part where FTP suffers some type of financial loss from treating their customers like crap (lost dollars is probably the only thing they understand, they have no sense of shame). Unless you think some big time player is going to leave the site because of this thread, when even the person who it actually happened too doesn't think it is enough to do so.

FTP's customer service is costing them millions, or the lack thereof rather.
If you only are going to have email 'support' then atleast answer in minutes (Like PokerStars) and not days or weeks like Full Tilt.

That is one of the reasons I have not even finished my sign-up bonus there.

Default LOL

..... priceless.

(Even better than the claim that Full Tilt "needs" him, in particular.)
