Players: Same game as my other posts. This is probably 3 hours into it. This is 6 handed.

Principal Players:

Button – Older Vietnamese player. One way to describe him is kind of weird. He’s very, very loose. I don't think he has found a blind hand he wouldn't defend. He’s called 3 cold in SB with 53o and flopped bottom two pair and lead into the field. He’s cold-called raises rather than 3 bet, even when 3-betting was clearly warranted. He check-raises top pair when someone has the initiative. I’m not quite sure what he’d do with a monster draw, but he does tend to check-call regular draws.

BB – Loose very, very passive player. Has been known to limp with TT in early position. Pretty good handle on him.

HJ – I’m here. I’ve been getting a little out of line pre-flop sometimes, so I might have a looser image than my normal rock-like presence.

Preflop action: (1.5 small bets, 6 players)

Folds to me, I raise with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], button cold calls, BB calls.

Flop action: (6.5 small bets, 3 players): K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Check to me, and I bet, Button raises, BB cold-calls 2, I 3-bet, button caps, all call.

Turn action: (9.25 big bets, 3 players): 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I have to bet here. Giving a free card is suicide. Bet once more, and then if shown any resistance, call down UI...Don't want to give any free cards to KQh. If no raises, bet a non heart/A/Q/9 river.

check calling a non heart river is really bad. There are so so many worse hands that can pay you off, but will check behind if you check. Youre only losing to Q9 and AQ which probably wont raise anyway.

@OP, yea I bet this. I was going to say that with button capping, the turn wont get checked through all that often and you dont have to risk button raising. But this is live and people do weird [censored] so yea I like a bet.

I'd say no. The problem is that many of the hands that you want to raise will check through and the hands that you are behind will often bet/3-bet. That is, you'll often get in 0 bets when ahead and 3 bets when behind, instead of 1 when you are ahead and 2 when behind.

This is especially true with your read of button.

Based on your description, sounds like a made hand, and a better made hand than yours. I am way more worried about being behind than about giving a free card. If he was capping 2 pairs on the flop, he'll probably bet them for you anyway.
