Why did Arkansas go first in the 3rd overtime (they just scored)???

They went on defense in first ot, then had to go first in 2nd OT, then they went first AGAIN in 3rd OT????

Nobody else noticed this?

They should have gone second in the 3rd OT... they scored but still...

I was wondering this as well

I don't know if anyone already answered this, but they flip again after every two overtime periods.

Sugar Bowl is tied into the SEC winner. I doubt they would be thrilled with a 3 loss LSU team that lost its last 2.

If LSU loses the SEC championship game there is no way they get a BCS bid.

Especially if it's Tennessee that beats them. UT would get a spot and UGA would get an at large bid (assuming they beat GA Tech tomorrow) and no conference can have more than 2 BCS bids.

Also, as they are playing right now, Georgia will roll LSU if they happen to play them in the title game, but in order for that to happen Kentucky would have to beat Tennessee tomorrow (very possible)

Is this a new rule this year? I remember watching those long marathon OT games (5+ OT) and teams would always alternate who went first each OT.

This is karma for that stupid billboard LSU fans bought in downtown LA. Hopefully if OSU goes to the national championship we can get a LSU-USC rose bowl.

Don't worry, if you actually get a good coach next year, you might actually win games you are supposed to win.

I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to the Kansas/Missouri game tonight. I'm rooting for Missouri, if for nothing better than to say OU beat the #1 team in the country. :-) And hopefully they'll get a chance to do it again (with half the country rooting for them).

Yea, as an Illini fan I think I'm rooting for Mizzou too. If Kansas loses they will probably drop a ton in the polls and OU already beat Mizzou pretty handily (granted it was at home) earlier this year. Someone correct me if I should be rooting for Kansas.
