Default Fun times with AQ

Villain is MrBIond on Stars if that helps anyone. I didn't have stats at this point but he was multitabling and seemed aggro so presumably a reg.

I was struggling to put him on a hand here. Everything missed on river and I couldn't see him calling with worse so I check to induce. Standard?

2/4 NL, 6 players

Stacks:
SB ($396 in chips)
BB ($789.55 in chips)
Hero (UTG) ($396 in chips)
MP ($407.70 in chips)
CO ($1001.75 in chips)
BTN ($415 in chips)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero raises $14, 1 fold, CO calls $14, 3 folds

Flop ($34): T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero bets $26, CO calls $26

Turn ($86): A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero bets $70, CO calls $70

River ($226): Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero checks, CO bets $240, Hero calls $240

well J9 got there but apart from that I guess it is good. I might actually bet fold 170 here since J9 got there and he can have the nut flush draw with like AdJd or something.
Not so many regs overbet bluff missed draws I think.

If I bet $170 on river I would have about $120 left and would probably talk myself into having odds to call when he pushes. Not sure if it's right or not, just don't like doing it when I'd be getting better than 6/1 I think.

I don't mind river check. He's so unlikely to have j9 here, he can valuebet worse and bluff a decent amount. I don't see you getting called by much if you lead here.

Why? If he's floated me on the flop with a weaker ace I can't see it calling a big river bet. Weaker two pair hands, which seem unlikely, should now value bet anyway.
