Re: QQ overpair meets heavy flop action
Here is how it happened Hero raises all-in to $9.26</font>, BB calls all-in for $4.85 Uncalled bet of $3.61 returned to Hero Turn: ($14.10) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players - 3 All-In) River: ($14.10) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players - 3 All-In) Pot Size: $14.10 ($0.70 Rake) MP had 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and LOST (-$1.90) BB had 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and LOST (-$5.95) Hero had Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (two pair, Queens and Jacks) and WON (+$7.45) I think the rough % to take down the pot from the flop are something like 6h5d - ~10% 2s6s - ~45% QhQc - ~40% Something like that. I got a little lucky. Hehehehe... |

[ QUOTE ]
The pot is big and you are now committed. You have an overpair. FD is big part of BB range here with PF action minimizing the chance of AA,KK. Push to protect your hand. A lot of worse hands will still come along. This pretty standard. Edit - You need a monster read to fold. Like Villain is 15/5/0 and then he flashes his set early. Which is pretty tough online.
