What about checking? I'm sure this kind of thing gets talked about a lot, but I couldn't find anything with search. |

If you bet hands that beat you and big draws call or raise, hands you beat fold (of course they occasionally bluff). If you check, hands you beat may bluff or check behind. People will frequently make weak stabs as well when you check. Of course if they pot the flop and turn then youre in a tough spot and youll have to make a judgement call based on the player. Frequently though, I check and they stab 1/2 pot flop and turn, or maybe check turn and pay me on river w/ a mid pair or something. |

This particular opponent is definitely aggressive/ballsy enough to double barrel ATC on the flop/turn if he's checked to. I know the obvious adjustment is to start checking good hands from OOP too, but this seems like something that can easily be exploited still. Anyone else have any thoughts on this? |

Re: QQ oop, common situation
yeah you have to adjust to the player. when you flop it trap. balance it all, you cant play your mid pair from behind everytime against a reg or theyll adjust and beat you down. if hes abusing you frequently i just end up taking a stand when I flop some equity and give em a big check raise or call and shove turn.

Re: QQ oop, common situation
I would make a pot size bet on the flop. He either has you crushed or not. He's not calling your 30 raise PF with Axs or Q10 so you don't have to worry about a draw.

So is this really that uninteresting? Check/call, move on?
