7 Badugi Capped PF

I'm dealt a 7642 Badugi and raise it up UTG, semi-steaming dealer makes it 3 bets from the CO. Fish calls 3 cold, LAGtard BB calls, I make it 4, CO makes it 5.

Any other line other than rap pat and call all the way?

Yeah I hope you meant cap every street. I'd put at least 5 bb more in before relenting and calling down.

If the "semi-steaming dealer" stands pat after you, you should checkraise 1st draw trapping in two other players. If he 3 bets your checkraise I would check/call the turn and donk/call the river. If he calls and raises your turn bet, I would call and donk/call the river.

Is that enough action DD ? I feel like if you put in/get more action than you may be beat, steamers do get hands sometimes. Barry has a rough 7, which means more action would mean steamer is spewing with an 8. comments?

Nomar and DD have played HE w/ me and know I'm tight. This dealer knows I'm tight, especially in a game I'm new at. WTF are you willing to put in 5 bets before the 1st draw againts me, rap pat and bet the 1st draw with when I rap pat?

I hate this line so much. The pot is huge, let's not worry about trapping the drawers. Better to face them with two bets several times and give them half a chance to make a mistake.

My default line here would be b-3-5, b-c, k-c. Of course that changes if one of the callers wakes up.

Barry --

One thing to remember is that the "number N" mode of thinking in deuce-to-seven is largely useless in Badugi. It's just statistically way harder to get the top N nut hands. A seven is very near the top of even a tight player's range after that action just because fives and sixes are so scarce.
