Hows my line? Standard TAG btw. |

Re: 44 SB vs BB levelling?
I kind of like it because no one bluffs the river here.

Re: 44 SB vs BB levelling?
I think the problem with this line is that it is so strong it represenst a very narrow range of cards.
With trips on this drawy board I would always raise either flop or turn, most often flop. Once you have called two streets I would put you on one of these hands: 1) The rare monster, like 75, not afraid of the draws. 2) A medium strength hand playing potcontrol (88) 3) A passively played draw, not believeing UTG has a 7. If UTG sees this the same way, he might call you pretty light hoping to see a busted draw, since monsters are rare. Depends on villains nittiness and your image obviously. |

I kind of like it because no one bluffs the river here. [/ QUOTE ] Nobody bluffs the river because nobody folds to a shove. Well that's not completely true, but eh, not a big fan of this since you're repping a pretty tight range of 55/77/88. I don't think you fold out better hands often enough to make this profitable. I think if he folds you had the best hand 90% of the time. For the record I think folding > calling > shoving, with calling/shoving being pretty close. Also, turn call is pretty bad IMO. |

This board is pretty hot for a triple barrel from him with air. |

Nobody bluffs the river because nobody folds to a shove. [/ QUOTE ] But seriously what can he call with. I think he has air here most of the time, and will fold most K hands anyway after the river. |

Re: 44 SB vs BB levelling?
Unless he is 3 barrelling you with air (busted draw) he has a hand here. Since he is getting decent odds and your hand could easily be a busted draw, I think most players call with a king here, maybe even less.
Your raise of his third barrel is either monster or air, so if he decides to call with less than a great hand it doesnt matter much if its a king or 99 in my opinion. |
