win 4 jackpot sit and go's and get 2000 dollars?

Hi ,

Im new to online poker and was wondering how can they offer this type of prize?

The site is bet365 and the sit and go costs 2.00+40 cent reg.

Basically are the odds so slim that it won't happen much?

They take the double rake for those jackpot SNGs, so I guess that's how they fund the jackpot. 0.40 rake instead of 0.20 doesn't seem much of a difference, but I guess it must be profitable for the casino over the amount of games played.

First of all, the rake for $2 SnGs on iPoker is always $0.40 no matter if it's a jackpot SnG or not.

The main reason how they prevent somebody from winning 4 of the them in a row to easily is the different blind structure: The blinds in Level 8 are at 300/600 and in Level 9 at 500/1000 skipping the Level 9 from normal SnGs with blinds at 400/800. With 12 players in the tourney and 1500 chips per player, this ensures that with 3 players left everybody has on average 6 BB and winning the tourney is highly dependent how lucky you are - and nobody is that lucky 4 SnGs in a row...

BTW: There are 3 other jackpot SnGs on iPoker for $6.00, $23.50 and $59.00. Would be interesting to know if anybody on this site has ever one 1 of them.
