Default Live 1/2 Awkward spot OOP I flop trips

Awkward OOP hand last night at FW.

I have like $350 behind, pretty much everyone covered. Its a new table, 4th hand in.

PF I am in big blind w/ 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

5 limpers to flop, I complete.

Flop:T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I lead out for $10. Two callers in between, short stack goes all in for $45. I think about raising, but flat call thinking worse hands might overcall. One caller, everyone else folds.

Pot: $157
Turn:T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check, with intentions of calling most bets here. He checks behind.

Better to check or lead here? If we check, how often are you calling a bet of 1/2 or 2/3 the pot

Value bet. Size is based on your read of Villain, but probably for $80.

Yeah, for several reasons.

1) If he's any good, he's done chasing a draw in a pot that large with a paired board.

2) If he's any good, he's getting away from a T.

3) If he has the case 7, you're a post toastie and you're pot committed (not like Ricky Williams, but it's hard to lay it down at this point).

4) When you check, he may cautiously check with a T but call your bet on a bricked river.

Well, it's been a while since I played much poker and a while since I've posted, so you might not want to assume I'm spot on!
