Re: (MTT noob)Which tournaments to practise for big Sunday tournaments?
lots of stars dailys around that range, including 3r and 5r, all good practice for working through big tournaments changing gears, adjusting to different stages/players. Maybe a few 45s/90s to get used to a bit of bubble play(abusing it) and closing out tournaments would be beneficial too.
Also read the mmt anthology of wisdom, better than any book you can buy. Bond also done a simply mtt cliffs notes stlye series and i'm sure you are already a more than competent player but just some concise, easy to read mtt stuff there. best of luck. |

The Daily 50 Grand would be a good one on either Stars or FTP. The 3r,5r would be great training for a large field.

[/ QUOTE ] I suppose the rebuys will be good for field size and also for deep stack play like you are likely to see in the big MTTs. Also, I was being sarcastic in the last post. You should rip all the pages out of that book except cloutier's stories in the back. Then burn them. Anthology is your best bet for quick training. HOH's v. I-III obv. Good luck. Sherman PS - If you are a 6-max cash game player, definitely play 6-max events. You will pwn. |
