I'm not sure this helps, but here it is:

Board: 9h 5h 2h

Wins Ties Equity
15.87% 0.79% 16.66% ( QdQc )
22.26% 0.29% 22.55% ( 22-99 )
22.26% 0.29% 22.55% ( 22-99 )
37.45% 0.79% 38.24% ( 99-AA )

[/ QUOTE ]

those ranges seem way to tight for me, probably a few unpaired hands in villains' ranges as well...

umm, I check and see who bets, how much, and with what tempo. I'd really really like to see this flop checked through though. Not a fan at all of shoving now

no offense but this range is awfully constructed and completely unrealistic.

That said, this seems like the most standard 'check and reevaluate' ever. Though, without having a read on any single player at this entire table?? I guess the old 'shove and hope for the best' isn't that bad.

[/ QUOTE ]totally agree..I think shoving is the worst of our options. Just because something is +EV doesnt mean it is the most EV.

I love the whole "shove now and embrace the variance" like the people that voted for that option know that they are running into a hand that has them crushed and are just willing to go that route because they have an overpair.

I'm checking here. I'll see what happens around the table but if one person bets and everyone else folds I'm generally not folding. If someone bets and someone else calls I generally am folding.

Well, we have roughly a PSB left. There's only shove or check. We have an overpair and the board is low and drawy, so we will either taken the pot down with a bet (which is great) or we're SA/WB when called. Getting almost 2 to 1 if called, it seems like a pretty easy shove, despite being high variance. It's all really tied to preflop -- when you have overpair on the flop with a PSB left after 3betting preflop, you pretty much can't go wrong shoving the flop.
